PAUL PERSAD, MD

Dr. Persad has extensive experience, including previous training and board certification in Internal Medicine at Mercer University, General Pathology at Wake Forest University and Renal Pathology specialty training at Vanderbilt University.

He has practiced in both academic and private settings in Georgia and North Carolina. His unique perspective as both clinician and pathologist makes him adept at bridging the gap between nephrology and renal pathology.

ROBERT G. HORN, MD

Founder

Dr. Robert Horn, established the first kidney biopsy service at Vanderbilt University Medical Center (1965-1981) as a part of the electron microscopy laboratory. He was at the forefront of methods developed for kidney biopsy interpretation that are still in use today.
